Installation, Melbourne, Australia

Point Zero is an installation that was constructed as a part of QRioCity, a State of Design Festival feature that explores an interactive network of designed objects that connect the virtual and the physical world through Quick Response (QR) codes.

Point Zero tests the decoding of the QR code through distortion, utilising the one point perspective construction method.

The code is projected onto a number of fragmented planes that come together when viewed from the correct position. In doing so, the code is distorted from all perspectives except one privileged point.

The project was a part of the curated QRioCity exhibition, The Scavenger Hunt State of Design Festival 2010
